She loves her city and knows it like the back of her hand, as well as many of the people in it. A sucker for a pretty face and always eager to lend a helping hand, Isla takes Rachel under her wing. Following several accidental run-ins, the two spend an entire day exploring the city and getting to know one another. However, after this romantic day ends in disaster, Rachel and Isla have to reconstruct their short-lived entanglement as Rachel searches for grounding in her new home and Isla does everything she can to build a foundation for her aspirations. As they each find big and small ways to help the other, they discover that their friendship is meant to be much, much more.
